Olivier de La Mesliere, Advisory Partner
Olivier is 45 years old and has 20 years of experience in Private Equity & Real Estate Investment, Venture Capital and Asset Management, having worked with The Industrial Bank of Japan(now: MIZUHO) in Paris (1989 ~1994) as a Director in charge of the legal department for certain real-estate subsidiaries and a Director of Asset Management for institutional portfolios. Since 1994, he has helped create a number of ventures both in Europe and the United States. An early investor (pre-IPO) in INKTOMI in 1997, he has participated since in several seed-stage financing of start-up companies as a business angel. In 1999, OPIME advised a Luxembourgbased umbrella fund regarding the launching and marketing of a new Fund in Japanese "New Economy" equities, managed by The Industrial Bank of Japan, the "CALLANDER FUND JAPAN NEW GROWTH", a US$ 150 million Fund.
Olivier is now a General Partner with EURO NET VENTURES, a Delaware Limited Partnership dedicated to seed-stage investments in European Information Technology start-ups. Olivier is also a Venture Partner with Leonardo Ventures, a seed-stage investment company in France.
Academic qualifications:
An Engineer with a Business law Degree, Olivier graduated from the "Ecole Nationale des Ponts & Chausses", in Paris, received a Business Law Degree from Universit de Paris Pantheon Sorbonne, and was a Fellow Research Student at Kyoto University, Japan, in earthquake engineering (18-month scholarship granted by the Japanese Ministry of Education)

Clarence H. Curry, Jr, Advisory Partner
In his career Mr. Curry served in senior management positions in AT&T, Dun and Bradstreet, and Iron Mountain, Inc. In these roles, he has provided guidance and recommendations in sales, marketing and product management to numerous companies globally. Mr. Curry also managed and supervised the complete Telkom Indonesia sales, marketing, and customer care initiative from strategy development to successful launch over a three (3) year period.
Mr. Curry served as Managing Director/Senior Consultant for Lucent Technologies Professional Services. In this capacity, he successfully developed and managed the launch of the first data communications service products in Brazil. Working with the Client Local Team, Mr. Curry developed the sales and marketing strategy, and managed the sales marketing implementation, including distribution relationships and provided post product support following the launch. Additionally, he supervised the hiring of the new sales force including developing the hiring criteria.
With over 20 years of experience in consumer products, financial services, database warehousing, direct marketing, telecommunications, information management and technology, Mr. Curry possesses a unique combination of marketing, consulting and management experience in the U. S. and international markets.
Mr. Curry is an accomplished speaker and has been a presenter at numerous conferences in the U. S. and abroad. He is the owner of 2 U. S. Patent and Trademark Registrations (Class 35, USCL 101) in Business Management and Consulting. Mr. Curry earned a Master Degree from the University of Michigan, where he also performed additional post-graduate studies.
Rasul Damji, Advisory Partner
Mr. Damji has 23 years of corporate and entrepreneurial business experience. Mr. Damji has held executive positions at AT&T and Lucent where he leveraged US and international expertise in P&L/product/operations management, business development, program management, M&A negotiation/integration and strategic planning to increase revenue, profit, performance, and shareholder value. Mr. Damji has created and managed growth-oriented businesses and spearheaded turnarounds of struggling organizations. Mr. Damji demonstrates solid financial acumen, including managing P&L, as well as investor relations. Mr. Damji orchestrated M&A deals up to $1.5 billion and assimilated businesses into existing corporate cultures, led billing and customer care software startup within a Fortune 500 company and grew revenues to $350 million in just 2 years. Led business transformation & capital; Added $300 million profit to the business group in 3 years. Mr. Damji has an entrepreneurial background and owned government software and retail corporation. Mr. Damji earned his Masters and Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Boston University and attended the Wharton School of Business.
Clifford A. Jenks, Advisory Partner
Mr. Jenks has spent over 25 years in high technology companies, including IBM, Epson, Apple, Zenith and Avid Technology. Over the last 6 years he has focused specifically on building and supporting new businesses in the emerging field of IP delivered services and entertainment.
Mr. Jenks became the CEO of Wavexpress in 1999, a start up company, which he grew from 6 employees to over 50 in two years. The company was founded to develop secure distribution channels for all IP-based content over broadband networks. Targeted customers fell into two groups: network operators and content publishers. Network operators, such as cable operators, terrestrial broadcasters, and satellite providers, use Wavexpress to improve their bandwidth utilization and the efficiency of their media distribution. Content publishers, such as record labels, TV studios, advertising agencies, and entertainment companies, employ Wavexpress to launch and operate their own broadband media channels, establishing or extending a direct relationship with existing or potential customers. The technology Wavexpress developed utilized digital bandwidth on any network to deliver media "assets" - movies, music, games, software, catalogs and advertisements - to a home PC, set-top box, or other device. They offer a comprehensive set of tools for packaging, protecting and delivering these assets. Their services support a variety of business models, including ad-supported content distribution, pay-per-use, purchase transactions, and subscription services.
The board of directors of Net-TV recruited Mr. Jenks in 2002 to lead them into the similar space of broadband delivered services and entertainment through network operators in both the cable and DSL worlds. Net-TV developed key software and device solutions to leverage broadband and broadcast infrastructures to deliver these emerging services. The key development efforts were around a TV-centric UI and a set top PC based platform. The company also developed a complete line of multi-media monitors for use as standalone or networked devices. Through Mr. Jenks extensive industry contacts and business reputation he created and grew Net-TVs distribution with Dell, Apple, CDW, several regional video distributors and a network of over 100 local integrators.
Mr. Jenks is a highly sought after knowledge expert in IP delivered services and entertainment. He became affiliated with Innovative Capital Partners, LLC (ICP) in 2005 and utilizes his business expertise to support ICPs business services and M&A activities related to Internet technologies and services.
Dr. Gerald D. (Jerry) Sentell, Advisory Partner
Dr. Sentell was Founder and CEO of an international management consulting and training firm for 20 years. The US based company operated globally through a network of wholly-owned subsidiaries and affiliates in fifteen countries covering Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and North and South America. He has helped restructure, train and turn around several fortune 500 companies and other large well-known international firms and government organizations in many of the countries served by his consulting firm.
Dr. Sentell was a Professor of Marketing at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville (from 1974 through 1984) and Director of Management Development Programs (1982 through 1984). Under his leadership the University created and launched its internationally recognized "Institute for Productivity through Quality". The programs offered by the "Institute" were endorsed by Dr. W. Edwards Deming and remain, in modern form, an important public service offering of the University.
Dr. Sentells international experience includes serving as the John F. Kennedy Foundation/Fulbright Professor of Business Administration at the National Institute for Development Administration in Bangkok, Thailand. He was also served as the marketing advisor to the Securities Exchange of Thailand. He has authored and/or co-authored five books (the most recent of which, Creating Change-Capable Cultures, published by Pressmark International in 1998 dealt with the dynamics of organizational change) and nearly 100 publications in Journals and collections of essays published throughout the world. Dr. Sentell has an MBA and DBA from the Graduate School of Business, Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. Jerry served his country with distinction during multiple tours of duty in Vietnam as an NCO in the US Army.
